For boat owners
Rent out your boat on BoatWakr
List your boat for free and earn when it books. You set the price, the schedule and who can rent — bareboat, with a captain, or both.
Your boat, your terms
- Price and calendar
- Every listing has its own prices, calendar and rules. You decide who can rent it and which cancellation policy applies.
- Bookings
- Turn on Instant Book and bookings confirm right away, or approve each request yourself: you have 72 hours to decide, and the renter is charged only once you accept.
- Captains
- Each listing is offered bareboat, with your own captain, with a Connection captain, or both. A captained listing takes bookings once an approved captain is on its crew.
- Insurance
- Your boat stays on your own policy. BoatWakr does not provide insurance.

Questions owners ask
How much does it cost to list a boat on BoatWakr?
Listing is free. BoatWakr keeps a commission only when a trip is booked; the current rate is used in the earnings estimate on this page.
Do I have to provide a captain?
No. Bareboat listings need none. If you do offer a captain, it can be your own or one you find on Captain Connection, and you decide per listing.
Do I need to be a business to list?
No. Individuals verify their identity and are approved on the spot. Registered businesses upload their registration, EIN letter and insurance certificate for a review before their listings go live.
What do Florida owners need?
Florida treats owners who rent boats without a captain as liveries, with permit and insurance requirements. Our Florida livery guide explains them.
